Welcome to another year in second grade.  As always,  I am looking forward to working with you and your child and am excited about a new school year.

Below I have listed the supplies your child will need to help make second grade successful.  Please bring these items as soon as possible.

Ramey DeBusk’s Second Grade Supply List:

*#2 pencils

*24 pack of crayons

*scissors

*glue sticks

* (2) 70 sheet wide-ruled notebooks

* (1) wide-ruled composition book to be used for a journal

* crayon/pencil box (regular size)

*backpack- preferably with no wheels

* (2) boxes of Kleenex

* (1) container of Clorox wipes

* (1) container of hand sanitizer

1. (1) pack of  #2 pencils (No mechanical pencils)

2. Crayons (16 count)

3. (2) glue sticks

4. (1) pair of safety scissors

5. (2) Composition notebooks to be used for a journal

6. (2) 70 page notebooks

7. (1) folder with pockets

8. (1) bottle of antibacterial hand sanitizer (Germ-X)

9. (3) boxes of Kleenex

** Please make sure your child brings their backpack daily.  This will help students keep up with homework/important papers.

** Please do not send large binders (Trapper Keepers).  We have limited space and these are too large to keep. 

Hello everyone!

My name is Mrs. Ramey DeBusk.  I teach second grade at Highland View.  This upcoming school year will be my 17th year of teaching.  This year will make my fifth year at Highland View and I am looking forward to meeting all of my new students. 

I hope everyone has a wonderful summer and is looking forward to second grade.
